German allowance: what you need to know

alocația din Germania

500,000 euros. This is the money from the German allowance that Lucicosm Mediere brought to its clients. All German employees who collaborated with Lucicosm benefited from all the facilities that the German state offers to foreign workers.

And, as you know, these facilities are innumerable. That is why Lucicosm helps you to benefit from as many such facilities as possible. We are here to offer you full support throughout your journey as a worker in Germany. Therefore, if you want to apply for the recovery of the allowance, Lucicosm facilitates the whole process for you.

German allowance

Have you registered for a job in Germany with Lucicosm Mediation? Then your benefits are innumerable. Because you work with a work card, with legal forms, you also have a benefit in the form of an allowance.

The Romanian press was talking, at one point, about the record amounts that Romanian employees receive in Germany for the allowance. In 2019, the German state paid 3.16 million children from other countries, amounting to approximately 7.4 billion euros. If until 2012, Romanians did not enjoy free European movement and the state paid only 75 million euros in allowances, today things have changed for the better for Romanians, and the amounts offered are in the order of billions.

The allowance is offered to those who work (or have worked) in Germany, for children up to the age of 18, without exception. If you have children who are still studying, you can receive the allowance until they reach the age of 25.

Germans are well known for the way they help employees, be they Germans or foreigners. From deserving salaries to allowances and bonuses, working in Germany only brings you benefits.

Moreover, the German government annually increases the amount it offers to employees in the form of an allowance. If in 2017 the allowance was in the amount of approximately 200 euros / child per month, today it reaches up to 240 euros / child per month. If you have two children, each is entitled to at least 200 euros per month.

The period from which you can recover the amount from the allowance is up to 6 months ago. Germany has a specific entity that handles this benefit and it remains your responsibility to notify the state whether or not you have worked in Germany before. But, if you work with Lucicosm Mediere, our company takes care of that.

What you need to know is that the conclusion of the employment contract in the German state also implies the cessation of this right to allowance.

Lucicosm Mediation helps you get the allowance

If you worked in Germany and you want to apply for recovery of the allowance, you must submit a file that does not exceed 6 months from the beginning of the employment contract abroad.

If you already have an open file, then we invite you to contact us to complete the allowance years or to continue the periods worked abroad.

You can also apply for tax recovery from abroad for the last 4 years. It is very important to keep the documents received from the employer, as they will be added as a component to the tax file.
